picturemaxx.com has a fresh new look! As part of the website relaunch, picturemaxx has updated both the design and content of its website and introduced its Drupal-based content management system. The result is a website that reflects what picturemaxx is all about today, from trusted platforms to new solutions powered by artificial intelligence.

Why the relaunch?

For many years, picturemaxx has been developing technologies for image providers, publishers, and media companies. Its expertise lies in managing, distributing, and monetizing digital content, along with the business processes that support these operations.

Artificial intelligence is opening up new possibilities for images and other digital content, which are increasingly being used in AI-powered applications. These developments also bring new challenges for content providers, especially when it comes to licensing and ensuring fair compensation for the use of their content.  

With picturemaxx.ai, picturemaxx is developing solutions that address these emerging challenges and help customers and partners navigate the evolving AI landscape.

The new website brings together picturemaxx's various business areas in a modern, cohesive design. It also provides insight topics and solutions picturemaxx plans to bring to its customers in the future.

New design – familiar identity

For the redesign, picturemaxx partnered with ÉTÉ, a design agency based in Munich and Paris. The goal was to create a modern website that reflects the company's strategic direction while bringing its diverse solution areas together under one cohesive visual identity.

At the heart of the redesign was one key question: How can picturemaxx's established brand identity be expressed visually while also reflecting its evolution into new AI-related business areas?

Through a series of collaborative workshops, we explored a range of ideas and approaches. Drawing on these insights, the ÉTÉ team developed a modern, clean design concept that stays true to the brand's distinctive and recognizable elements while introducing a contemporary visual identity designed for the future.The website serves as the central hub for picturemaxx – a place where visitors can experience the brand, easily find their way around, explore the company, and discover both its heritage and its future vision. An evolved color palette, a clear and consistent structure, a new typographic identity, and a fresh approach to imagery all contribute to the website's new visual direction.

Our own technology as the foundation

The relaunch also marks an important technical milestone: the company's previous content management system (CMS) has been completely replaced by the picturemaxx Drupal CMS, which is already used by many picturemaxx customers.

With the relaunch, picturemaxx is now using its own Drupal-based CMS to power its corporate website. The picturemaxx Drupal team led the technical implementation, bringing the new design to life in close collaboration with everyone involved in the project.

The relaunch also introduced a range of new elements, including an image slider, scrolling effects, a redesigned header, and additional layout options for column display. These elements are also available to picturemaxx customers. 

All platforms under one roof

The new website brings together picturemaxx's established solutions, including my-picturemaxx and picturemaxx DAM, alongside the company's AI-focused solutions from picturemaxx.ai.

As picturemaxx continues to evolve, its core mission remains unchanged: to support customers and partners in managing and working with digital content while helping them successfully monetize it. This applies equally to proven business models and the new opportunities emerging through artificial intelligence.
