Berlin, Mai 26, 2011

A vocational training offers the Ostkreuzschule in Berlin young adults who are interested in photographie and journalism to become an image researcher. Ostkreuzschule is a school for photography run by the German picture agency Ostkreuz.

According to Betty Fink, lecturer and manager of Ostkreuz, practical experience plays a big role. Researching and collection images for special purposes and creating own publications are important issues on the agenda of the study which takes two semesters.

picturemaxx supports the vocational training of Ostkreuzschule with 15 licenses of the media search engine my-picturemaxx. With this research tool the students can exercise and work like a professional and use images, video, audio and text from more than 300 stock photo agencies, media providers and archives which offer their portfolios via the media network i-picturemaxx.

For many years it has been an important objective for picturemaxx to strengthen the quality of education and to make donations which help to improve the skills of the next generation.
